Weiße Elster compensation project: woodland clearance and forest road rehabilitation in the dynamic floodplain

Summary

The tender concerns the rehabilitation of forest roads in the Auwald area of Leipzig. The works include cutting vegetation along 1,260 linear metres of both sides of the forest roads, up to 4 metres in height and 15 cm in diameter; constructing verges along both sides of 4,300 linear metres of roads; milling, profiling and compacting the existing forest roads; and supplying and laying mineral mixtures: 450 tonnes of 0/32–0/45 base material and a 1 cm-thick 0/5 wearing course along 4,300 linear metres. No design services are required and the procurement is not divided into lots. The works must be performed from 16 November to 4 December 2026. Tenders must be submitted electronically in German by 28 September 2026 at 13:00. Price is the only award criterion. Variants and multiple main tenders are not permitted. Bidders must be prepared to provide the required suitability forms, references, turnover information and other supporting documents.
