Tender detail
Commercial waste
Summary
The tender covers the collection, transport, recovery and compliant disposal of commercial waste from five operating sites of Stuttgart’s municipal wastewater organisation. The waste streams include plastic, wood, construction waste, used oil, paper and cardboard, cable waste, electronic waste and mixed metals. Used oil is classified as hazardous waste. The contract is divided into five lots: Mühlhausen, Ditzingen, Plieningen, Möhringen and the sewer operations site. Bidders may apply for one, several or all lots. The initial term is 12 months, with up to three mutually agreed 12-month extensions, for a maximum term of 48 months. The submission deadline is 18 September 2026 at 00:00. Price is the only award criterion and has a weighting of 100%. The bidder must submit the completed price schedules and the required evidence, including comparable references, waste-management certification where required and proof of liability insurance. Collections normally have to take place within three working days of an order, and exceptional internal container transport must be provided within 24 hours. All collection, weighing, transport, recovery and disposal activities must comply with the applicable waste, transport and safety legislation.
