MZFR Infrastructure Development – Lot 01: Civil Engineering Works, Construction Phase 1

Summary

The tender concerns civil engineering and infrastructure works for the first construction phase of the MZFR site development in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen. The scope includes traffic areas, stormwater and wastewater sewers with building connections, district heating pipelines, duct systems for electrical and communication cables, preparation for street lighting, and drinking water pipelines. This is a single-lot procurement and only one tender may be submitted; variant tenders are not permitted. The tender must be submitted electronically by 02 October 2026 at 09:00. Price is the only award criterion. Works must start no later than 18 January 2027 and be completed by 1 February 2028. The south-east route must be completed within 20 weeks of the start of the works and the northern route within 35 weeks. Before work starts, the bidder must submit and obtain approval for the work safety form, risk assessment and required work and schedule plans. Machinery must be properly inspected and CE-marked. The bidder must include in its price the costs of site establishment, safety, documentation, waste separation and subcontractor coordination.
