Hördt Fire Station – Lift System

Summary

The tender covers the complete platform lift solution for the new fire station in Hördt, including planning, supply, installation, commissioning, user instruction, acceptance and maintenance. The lift must comply with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and DIN EN 81-41, have a 400 kg capacity, 230 V power supply and two stops serving the ground and upper floors. The scope also includes TÜV or expert acceptance with documentation, twice-yearly system maintenance and a five-year warranty extension for all installed parts. The planned start of the lift works is April 2027. The bidder must provide an initial suitability declaration or demonstrate suitability through the construction contractors’ prequalification register. The declaration covers turnover from comparable construction or other services during the last three completed financial years; no minimum turnover amount is specified in the documents. The bidder must confirm comparable work during the last five calendar years or the longer period stated in the contract notice. If requested during further verification, three references must be submitted with details of the contact person, work type, contract value, execution period, scope and quantities, workforce, technical features, type of construction project, contractual role and the client’s confirmation of proper performance. The bidder must have the workforce required for the works and, if requested, provide average employee numbers by wage group for the last three completed calendar years, with management staff shown separately. The bid must be submitted in German, using the forms provided by the contracting authority and within the deadline. Prices must be stated in euros, with no more than three decimal places and excluding VAT; VAT is added at the end of the bid. Subcontracted work must be described by type and scope, and subcontractors must be named when requested. The bidder must inspect the site and price in the delivery and installation, site conditions, possible interruptions and required coordination. The platform lift must include features such as a stainless-steel platform, battery-supported emergency lowering, an emergency call system, anti-entrapment protection, LED lighting and two glazed aluminium-frame doors.
