Tree Species Profiles
Summary
The tender concerns the preparation of concise, evidence-based profiles for 22 tree species, assessing their characteristics, habitat functions and biodiversity impacts. The work must cover site and morphological features, invasiveness and hybridisation potential, habitat use by birds, insects, mosses and lichens, changes over the tree’s lifetime, and implications for tree use and safety. The profiles must be based on a critical literature review, include cited sources and a commented bibliography, and be delivered as structured, editable files. The contract schedule includes a kick-off video meeting two weeks after award, an interim report with three profiles by 1 December 2026, discussion of the interim report by 19 December 2026, a draft of all profiles by 14 March 2027 and the final report by 30 April 2027. The tender deadline is 1 October 2026; the offer must remain binding until 4 December 2026. The offer must be complete, signed and submitted in German using the required documents. The bidder must demonstrate relevant expertise and references in biodiversity and nature conservation.
