Concrete pavement slab rehabilitation on the A29 near Varel, 2026/2027

Summary

The tender concerns rehabilitation of individual damaged concrete pavement slabs on both carriageways of the A29 in the Varel maintenance area, approximately from km 44.000 to km 89.757. The works include removing and installing concrete slabs approximately 23.5 cm thick, lifting and grouting settled slabs, repairing joints and asphalt areas, road marking, traffic management and urgent repairs to traffic hazards within 72 hours when instructed. Works will be carried out during daytime and at night, generally while keeping traffic open and using several work crews. Work starts 12 working days after contract award; concrete slab rehabilitation must be completed by 31 May 2027 and the entire project by 31 August 2027. The bidder must submit the required suitability and other declarations, the priced bill of quantities, subcontractor information, a construction schedule and the required qualification, material and testing evidence. The tender must be submitted electronically by 21 September 2026 at 11:00. Price is the only award criterion.
