Supply and conversion of 14 Type A2 patient transport vehicles, with an option for additional vehicles

Summary

The contract covers the supply of 14 DIN EN 1789 Type A2 patient transport vehicles, fully converted and equipped. It also provides an option to order up to 5 additional vehicles; any such order depends on the need described in the tender documents. The work includes supplying and converting the base vehicles, installing stretcher and stair-chair lifting and loading systems, medical and communications equipment, electrical and warning systems, vehicle markings, documentation, handover and user training. Annual on-site maintenance and safety inspections must also be provided for 48 months after delivery of each vehicle. The first vehicle must be completed within 40 calendar weeks and the last within 60 calendar weeks after contract award; option vehicles are due within 60 calendar weeks after being ordered. The contract is not divided into lots, and variant bids are not permitted. The offer must include the required ISO 9001 certificate, the DIN EN 1789:2024 test report, a service concept, dimensioned technical drawings, a weight calculation, and the base vehicle configuration and equipment codes. A warranty of at least 24 months is required for both the base vehicle and the conversion. The offer must be binding, and the bidder must confirm compliance with ILO core labour standards. Offers will be evaluated on price (50%), delivery time (5%), chassis and conversion (35%), and service and warranty (10%). In the event of an equal economic result, a 15% price deduction may apply to offers from recognised workshops for people with disabilities or inclusion enterprises, subject to the stated conditions.
