Non-universal photonic quantum computer
Summary
The tender covers the supply of one non-universal photonic quantum computer system consisting of a single-photon source, processor and single-photon detectors. The processor must use a multiport interferometer architecture, support at least 8 modes, achieve at least 90% amplitude fidelity, include a USB interface, operate at approximately 940 nm or a telecommunications wavelength, and have insertion losses below 4 dB. The system must be rack-mountable, suitable for a standard laboratory, include the required software and control computer, and be covered by three years of maintenance from acceptance. The bidder must provide a company profile, turnover figures for 2022, 2023 and 2024, and, if available, 2025, together with at least one comparable reference from 2023 or later. Signed declarations and the required export-classification information must be submitted. The offer must state the manufacturer part or model number and a binding delivery time in whole calendar weeks. Prices must be quoted in euros excluding VAT, and price is the sole award criterion with a weighting of 100%.
