Programmable wind field generation system for a wind-wave flume

Summary

Helmholtz-Zentrum hereon GmbH is procuring a programmable wind-field generation system for an existing wind-wave flume. The supply includes delivery, installation, commissioning and functional testing, together with the supporting structure, flow-conditioning equipment, airflow ducting, control software and communications infrastructure. The system includes a modular test section approximately 13 metres long and is intended for scientific research into wind-wave interaction and related environmental flows.
