Transformer station upgrade for the new Physics Building, Building 3335

Technische Universität Braunschweig is procuring the refurbishment and capacity upgrade of the existing transformer station serving the new Physics Building, Building 3335, at Hans-Sommer-Straße 10 in Braunschweig. The works include replacing two 250 kVA transformers with two 630 kVA transformers, upgrading the medium-voltage switchgear and extending the low-voltage main distribution board with two 1,000 A feeder fields, together with the associated cabling and station-building repairs. The station must remain operational during construction, with interruptions to the site-power supply kept to a minimum.
