Renewal of the Reutebachgasse railway bridge, line 4000, km 205.091

Summary

The procurement covers the renewal and widening of the railway bridge over Reutebachgasse in Freiburg, providing a clear width of 9 m. The works include partial demolition of the existing structure, installation of temporary bridges, construction of foundations, abutments and retaining walls, and installation of the new load-bearing structures and noise barriers. Full railway closures are planned for June and October 2027; the works are expected to involve approximately 12 bored piles, 460 m³ of concrete, and around 36 tonnes of steel and 120 m³ of concrete for the new load-bearing structures. The City of Freiburg will carry out the roadworks on Reutebachgasse after the railway bridge renewal.
