Tender detail
Exterior plastering works at Julius Leber School
Summary
The contract covers partial removal of the existing exterior render, preparation of the masonry, application of new lime and lime-cement render, and limewashing the façades of the listed Julius Leber School building in Frankfurt. It also includes painting work to the timber roof eaves, installation of render profiles, sealing of joints, and the site setup and scaffolding required for the works. The façade work covers approximately 1,760 m². Because the building is protected as a historic monument, materials and colours must be selected in coordination with the restoration specialist and the architects. Bidders must submit the required declarations and identify products and manufacturers for every work item where no product is specified; missing details will result in rejection and cannot be supplied later. The contractor must prepare a works plan describing the products and their compatibility. Participation requirements include relevant previous experience, sufficient workforce, applicable registration and tax compliance, and insurance. The bid must be submitted in German, by the deadline, using the forms provided by the contracting authority.
