Tender detail
Disposal of dewatered sewage sludge
Summary
The tender covers the removal and treatment of dewatered, polymer-conditioned sewage sludge from the Selb wastewater treatment plant from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029. The estimated quantity is approximately 1,400 tonnes per year, although actual quantities may vary. The service includes taking over and weighing the sludge, transporting it, recovering it thermally by incineration, and keeping the legally required records. Agricultural use, land reclamation, composting and the production of organic-mineral fertiliser are not permitted. The contractor must provide suitable watertight containers with a capacity of 13–22 m³, including one empty reserve container, and exchange and remove them at the agreed times. The tender must describe the incineration facility, its technology and capacity, contingency arrangements in case of interruption, and the transport and storage arrangements. Required permits must be provided, and the incineration and movement of the sludge must be documented with complete traceability. Price is the sole award criterion. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 9 November 2026 at 10:00. Bidders must demonstrate relevant previous experience and provide other suitability declarations; the specific conditions are summarised in the suitability criteria field.
