Funeral services for Trier's public order office – framework agreement (December 2026–November 2030)

Summary

The tender concerns the provision of funerals arranged by the Trier public order office. The city does not employ its own trained funeral-service staff and intends to appoint one funeral company or a consortium of funeral companies for four years starting on 1 December 2026. As a general rule, cremation must be carried out within 14 days after the death has been established; in individual cases, particularly for religious reasons, burial is arranged instead.
