Provision of hot meals to social assistance recipients in Gliwice

Summary

The tender concerns the preparation and distribution of hot meals to people receiving social assistance in the city of Gliwice. It is divided into four lots, and bids may be submitted for all lots. The service must be provided from a distribution point located near the streets specified for the relevant area. Lots 1 and 2 are expected to start in autumn 2026, while lots 3 and 4 start on 1 January 2027; the contracts run until 31 December 2028. The contracting authority may exercise a unilateral option to increase the number of meals supplied, depending on the lot, up to 34,400, 24,700, 42,000 or 16,800 meals. Price accounts for 60% of the score, the possibility of replacing a meat-free or partly meat-based meal with a meat meal accounts for 10%, and additional meals offered within the tender price account for 30%. The bidder must be legally entitled to provide collective catering, maintain liability insurance of at least PLN 100,000, have premises meeting sanitary requirements and approved by the sanitary authority, and have the personnel needed to perform the contract. The bid must be submitted electronically through the contracting authority's e-procurement platform by 21 August 2026 at 09:00.
