Motor fleet insurance for Spaarne Werkt

Summary

The procurement is for insurance of Spaarne Werkt’s fleet of 44 vehicles: 6 passenger cars, 22 vans, 6 minibuses, 1 truck and 9 mopeds or scooters. The required cover includes motor third-party liability, comprehensive cover, passenger accident insurance and legal expenses insurance; the cover for each vehicle is specified in the vehicle schedule. The insurance must also cover work risk, meaning liability for damage caused to third parties while a vehicle is used as a tool, but underground damage is excluded. Cover applies in countries listed on the Green Card, and the replacement-vehicle clause also applies on the insured’s own premises and inside its buildings. The contract starts on 31 December 2026 and ends on 1 January 2029, with two possible mutual 12-month extensions and at least three months’ notice of termination. The third-party liability and comprehensive deductibles are EUR 500 per event for passenger cars, vans, minibuses and the truck. For mopeds and scooters, the third-party liability deductible is EUR 0 and the comprehensive deductible is EUR 100. There is no deductible for glass repair; glass replacement carries a EUR 75 deductible per pane when performed by an affiliated glass repairer. Bids must be submitted in Dutch through TenderNed by 16 November 2026 at 12:00. Bidders must provide a completed and signed European Single Procurement Document, the price form and the vehicle schedule; an intermediary declaration is also required where an intermediary submits the bid. The insurer must hold the required licence. Price is the sole award criterion, and bids must include the 10% brokerage fee.
