Window and glass cleaning for municipal buildings in Sittard-Geleen

Summary

The tender concerns periodic window and glass cleaning services for municipal buildings of the Municipality of Sittard-Geleen. The work includes cleaning the inside and outside of windows, facade and wall panels, partition glass, frames, surrounding trim and window sills. Routine cleaning is planned twice a year, with additional cleaning possible for heavily used or specially configured areas. The contract starts on 1 January 2027 and has an initial term of 48 months, with two possible 12-month extensions. Bids must be submitted electronically by 30 October 2026 at 12:00. The award is based on the best price-quality ratio: price 65%, implementation plan 15%, sustainability 10% and social return 10%. The fictitious price calculation uses 2,000 m² of glass, 500 m² of facade and wall panels, 360 m² of partition glass and one week of lifting-platform use. The successful supplier must clean to a streak-free, spot-free standard, comply with the approved schedule, use suitable and environmentally compliant cleaning products, provide building-specific risk assessments, use at least Euro 6 vehicles, maintain safe equipment and qualified lifting-platform operators, and meet the stated certification, insurance and reference requirements.
