Species Management Plan for the Municipality of Waadhoeke

Summary

The tender concerns the preparation and implementation support of a Species Management Plan for the built-up area of the Municipality of Waadhoeke. The assignment covers project management, the full ecological baseline survey, data analysis, preparation of the plan, mitigation and compensation measures, ecological work protocols, monitoring, permit preparation and six months of implementation support after the area-based flora and fauna permit is granted. The mandatory scope covers 32 settlements; additional settlements and business parks are optional and must be priced separately. The municipality aims to submit the permit application to the Province of Fryslân by the end of 2029. The contract is for one lot, with an intended duration of 36 months. Award is based on the best price-quality ratio: price 30 points and quality 70 points, including sustainability, approach and experience. A Social Return commitment of at least 2% of the total contract value excluding VAT applies.
