Supply of a refuse collection vehicle with crane and rear loader

Summary

The tender concerns the supply to Gemeente Middelburg of two rear-loader refuse collection vehicles and two crane-equipped refuse collection vehicles in two lots. In each lot, one vehicle is scheduled for 2027 and the second for 2029 or 2030. The agreement runs from 22 December 2026 to 21 December 2028, with an option for the contracting authority to extend it unilaterally twice by up to one year each time. Lot 2 requires crane-equipped refuse collection vehicles with at least 8,250 kg payload, 28,000 kg GVW, 20 m³ body capacity, a crane lifting capacity of at least 1,950 kg at a 10,000 mm reach, and a diesel engine rated at least 300 kW and 2,000 Nm. Bids must be submitted electronically by 20 October 2026 at 10:00. Bidders may submit for one, several or both lots, with up to two bids permitted per lot. Price carries 30% and qualitative award criteria 70%; quality assessment also includes a practical vehicle evaluation.
