Summary

The tender covers demolition planning for sites to be demolished by the City of Lahti in autumn 2026, preparation of tender documents for demolition contracts, organisation of the demolition procurement, and management, supervision and safety coordination on behalf of the contracting authority. For some sites, preliminary demolition surveys are also required: a demolition material and construction waste survey (RAPU), an asbestos and hazardous substances survey, and an assessment of the suitability of demolition materials for reuse under Decree Vna 843/2017. The demolition works at Asemantausta and Ahtiala day-care centres and the handover of the sites in a condition suitable for construction must be completed by the end of 2026 at the latest; for the other sites, the corresponding deadline is the end of January 2027. For the Radanvarren railway freight station at Mannerheiminkatu 3, the contract covers only preliminary surveys, which must be completed within 8 weeks after the procurement decision has become legally effective. The procurement is not divided into lots. The tender and official communication with the contracting authority must be in Finnish, and no fee is paid for preparing the tender.
