Controller service for MERCAMURCIA’s Food Logistics Distribution Centre

Summary

The procurement is for controller services at MERCAMURCIA’s Food Logistics Distribution Centre. The work includes routine access control for visitors and vehicles, providing information, managing keys, monitoring movement around the site, preparing shift reports and carrying out other auxiliary tasks described in the tender documents. This is not a security service: incidents that may pose a danger must be reported to the MERCAMURCIA contact and, where appropriate, to emergency or law-enforcement services. The planned staffing is as follows: on weekdays, one controller at the entrance gate from 07:00 to 14:30, another from 22:30 to 07:00, and one controller inside the site from 00:00 to 07:00. At weekends and on public holidays, two controllers are required at the gate and two inside the site, all working 12-hour shifts. MERCAMURCIA may also request occasional additional service. The contractor must assume the employer obligations relating to the existing staff assigned to the service, arrange staff training and cover for absences, and meet occupational health and safety requirements. The contractor must also provide a vehicle equipped with at least three powder extinguishers and two CO2 extinguishers, as well as flashlights, and bear the fuel, maintenance and operating costs.
