Metal covers for electrical-supply pits at León y Castillo Quay

Summary

The procurement covers the manufacture and delivery of nine metal covers, each measuring 1,900 × 1,780 mm, for electrical-supply pits at León y Castillo Quay in the Port of Las Palmas. Each cover must have a rigid UPN-200 perimeter frame, internal IPN-140 and IPN-100 reinforcements, and a 20 mm S275JR steel plate. Each cover must include four lifting points. A C5 protective coating with an average thickness of 325 microns is required, including Sa 2½ abrasive surface preparation and the specified epoxy and polyurethane coating layers. The supplier is responsible for loading, transport and unloading; manufacture and delivery must be completed within ten weeks. The estimated value is €52,500 excluding tax, and the maximum tender budget is €56,175 including 7% IGIC. Price is the sole award criterion, and the tender price must not exceed the budget ceiling. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and technical capacity, submit a preliminary procurement declaration, and the preferred bidder must provide the required supporting evidence. The successful bidder must also provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the contract price and welding quality documentation.
