Digitization 2026 (VE)

Summary

The tender concerns digitization of archival material and conversion into a digital format. The project includes about 415,200 image files from 35 mm microfilms and delivery of digital copies as 8-bit grayscale JPEG files at 300 dpi (maximum 3000 dpi per film). Work locations are the Saxon State Archives in Dresden and the Hubertusburg Archive Center in Wermsdorf. The contract period runs from January 4, 2027 to July 31, 2027. The contract also covers transport, initial briefing, and sample acceptance; each film must be digitized as a separate file. The process includes metadata header digitization and proper on-site file management, quality control and archival standards.
