Supply of electricity to the Coesfeld municipal wastewater utility
Summary
The tender concerns the supply of electricity to the City of Coesfeld’s wastewater utility, including its wastewater treatment plant, pumping stations and other operating sites. The electricity must come from renewable sources and be supported by the required guarantee of origin. Supply is required for 54 consumption points: 2 with interval metering and 52 with standard load profiles. Total consumption in 2025 was 738,763 kWh; the annual ordered quantities are 550 MWh and 200 MWh for the two groups, with a specified tolerance range of 500–1,100 MWh. Supply starts on 1 January 2027 and runs for three years, with a possible one-year extension by mutual agreement. Bidders must submit prices for the service and renewable-electricity surcharges, as well as base-load and peak-load shares for each group and year. The contract will be awarded to the offer with the lowest evaluated price; prices for 2030 are excluded from the evaluation. The offer deadline is 5 November 2026 at 09:00.
